NEW CATERHAM MODELS TO BE ANNOUNCED

Chapman would be proud to see how far his iconic Seven has come. He, along with
his team at Lotus, built the original Seven from 1957 to 1972 and sold the
rights to Caterham in 1973.Caterham’s newest version stays true to the original
formula.
According
to a release issued by Caterham on Aug. 13, two new models are to be introduced
by Caterham in Monterey this weekend: the Seven 480 and the 360. Under the
bonnet is the featherweight aluminum 2.0L Ford four cylinder. The 480 model has
237 hp that can jump to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds while on the way to a 140 mph top
speed. For a less aggressive launch, the 360 offers 180 hp and 4.9 seconds to
reach 62 mph.
